Stop caring about what others have to say and live your own life. I can't stand people who want to do what their parents or friends want them to do instead of doing something you want. IT'S YOUR LIFE! People will tell you that you can't do something because it is something they probably couldn't do, and is the reason why they don't see you doing it. Anything is possible if you just believe.

Doctor, engineer, and lawyer, are those the only careers Tamil parents think exist? HELLO! There are way more jobs out there that makes just as much money and doesn't require as much schooling. Don't be a victim of your parents back home thinking, don't just nod your head to their choice of university/college, program, career and life path! Make your own choices. There's more out there than they know, than even you know, so RESEARCH!

SAVE your money!! Too many people these days don't think about saving money now and tell themselves "I will do it later" and instead spend it on getting drunk, partying or buying something unnecessary for their car. Many of you, by luck, live with your parents so you don't have to worry about paying rent or putting food in your belly. But what you forget is that you are never too young to start saving. In this time and age, we've all learned the hard way that money doesn't come easy. So SAVE IT and start thinking about the future. Use the time you have now, with minimum expenses, to start saving for a time when your expenses will be way more than your income. Thug life is now, but real life is around the corner, be prepared.
